Angeline Simonelli Kendo

Angeline Simonelli Kendo, 92 of McMurray, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2018 in McMurray Hills Manor.

She was born on October 23, 1925 in Republic to Angelo and Theresa Manduzio who preceded her in death.

On May 23, 1987 she married Robert Kendo who passed away on June 10, 2015.

She enjoyed listening to polka music, cooking and baking for her family, and spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter JoAnn Stevenson (Charles) of Canton, Ohio, a son Joseph Simonelli, Jr., of Burgettstown, and her sister Tina Levi of Eighty Four, her grandchildren, Tracy Windsheimer (William) of Canonsburg, Jospeh Simonelli,III (Kristen) of Avella, Chad Simonelli of Washington, James Chicarella of Canonsburg, her great grandchildren David Higgins, III, Tony Higgins, Kyle Appleby, Zacharay Simonelli, Gage and Romen Simonelli, Hannah and Brittany Windsheimer, a great granddaughter Remington Higgins and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Theresa Patrick, Lucille Szili, Rose Dever, Antoinette Lombardi, her brother James Manduzio and her ex-husband Joseph Simonelli, Sr.,  who passed away January 30, 1989.

Friends are welcome from 2~4 & 6~8 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 and Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, January 26, 2018. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery Canonsburg.
