Daniel F. Bonner

     Daniel F. Bonner age 83 of Canonsburg and Chartiers Twp. passed away peacefully Thursday July 20, 2017 in the home of his daughter following a brief illness, with his loving family by his side. He was born December 2, 1933 in North Olmstead, Ohio a son of the late Hope and Clara Yokum Bonner. Mr. Bonner lived many years in the Burgettstown area and had been a member of Our Lady of Lords Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He graduated from Union High School in Burgettstown and proudly served with the United States Army. Prior to his retirement he was an Iron Worker and a member of Local Number 3. Since moving to the Canonsburg area he was a faithful member of St. Patrick Church. Mr. Bonner was an avid golfer, a big fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, reminiscing about times spent at Lake Erie and visiting the casino. He mostly loved being with his family and caring for and gardening at his farm in Chartiers Twp.

     On October 14, 1967, he married Sandra F. Duni who survives. Also left to cherish his memory are two daughters; Lynn (Patrick) Howard and Kelly (Eric) Miller, grandchildren; Matt (Connie) Crow, Aidan Miller, Lia Howard, Connor Howard and twins Kellen and Ryleigh Miller and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Bonner was the last of his immediate family. Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers; Lloyd “Doc” and Frank Bonner.

     At Mr. Bonners request, there will be no public visitation. A private family gathering will be observed at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
