Bernard C. Bakaitis

Bernard C. Bakaitis, 79 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully on Friday, March 2, 2018 in St. Clair Hospital and is now at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He was born on June 3, 1938 in Muse to Anton and Anna Zamas Bakaitis who preceded him in death.

On August 12, 1961 he married Peggy Jo Francis who survives.

Mr. Bakaitis was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church in South Park. He was the owner and operator of Rebecca’s Quality Candies for over 25 years in Houston.

He had many interests including fishing building model airplanes and a passion for classic cars.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Bernard C. Bakaitis (Erika) of Canonsburg, his five grandchildren Zachary, Sierra, Christian, Breanna and Rachel Bakaitis and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Kenneth Bakaitis, his four brothers, William, Clarence, Edward and Albert Bakaitis, and his sisters, Ann Bianchi, Nell Lombardo and Opal Chambers.
