I delivered Meals on Wheels to your mother every Friday and I just wanted to tell you that she was such a joy and beautiful person in body and spirit. She always had a smile on her face and told us how grateful she was for our service. We would give her flowers sometimes that were donated and she would say "Why are you giving me flowers? I'm not SPECIAL and I would always say we are giving you flowers because you ARE special." That would make her smile and that alone would make my day. Elaine will be missed. My condolences.

So sorry for your loss. I was out of town at the time, so could not go to the funeral home to pay my respects. I was glad that I did stop by to see her a week ago.

To the children of Elaine and Bruno,
I grew up in Muse on Maple Street one house away from the Bassos.
Your mother and dad were such nice people. You have my symphony.
