Helen R. Simko

Helen R. Simko, 90 of Canonsburg passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Townview Health and  Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on May 21, 1927 in Sturgeon to Charles and Anna Skarupa Dorosh who preceded her in death.

On April 30, 1949 she married Vincent Simko who passed away on February 11, 2015.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Canonsburg. She was a resident of Canonsburg most of her life.

Mrs. Simko enjoyed playing cards and doing needlepoint in her free time.

She was the last of her immediate family.

She is survived by a nephew, Daniel Bethem (Mary Jo) of Akron, Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister Mary Bethem and one brother John Dorosh.
