Michael Anthony Baughman

Michael Anthony Baughman, 21 of McMurray passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Canonsburg Hospital.

He was born on January 15, 1997 in Washington to Tonie Baughman who survives.

Mr. Baughman was a graduate of Peters Township High School.

Michael was a sweet spirit with a warm personality and a beautiful smile. His spirit had the ability to calm everyone around him. He had an awesome sense of humor and loved laughter and music.  He loved his mother, little brother and his Grandmother Eleanor deeply. When asked who his hero was he chose his brother Derek as his hero. He was a strong and determined young man who despite his limitations worked hard to accomplish the goals assigned to him. His mother Tonie stated “she could not have asked for a more ambitious and loving son”.

He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Tonie Baughman, his step father, Mark Traeger, his brother Derek Anthony Baughman all of McMurray, his maternal grandmother Eleanor Baughman, his step grandmother Patricia Traeger also of McMurray, his Aunt Doretta Wesley and his cousin Daniel Wesley both of Louisville, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ernest Gill.

Friends are welcome from 6~8 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 and 2~4 and 6~8 pm on Sunday, July 8, 2018 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, and Darla A. Tripoli, LFD, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., with Darla A. Tripoli, Certified Celebrant officiating. Interment will be private.
