Patricia (Schultz) Wargo

Patricia Alice Wargo, 85 of Strabane passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Manorcare McMurray.

She was born on April 22, 1933 in Dundalk, Maryland to Max and Edith Kolstrom Schultz who preceded her in death.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Allan Jay Wargo.

Mrs. Wargo was a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Canonsburg where she was a member of the Christian Mothers.

She retired after 27 years as the office clerk/manager for the VFW Post 191 Ambulance Service in Canonsburg.

She is survived by four children Allan J. Wargo (Janine Plisko) of Canonsburg, Jeffrey L. Wargo (Deborah) of Kissimmee, Florida, Darryl J. Wargo (Marianne) of Canonsburg and Lois A. Yamashita (Kenneth) of Doylestown, PA, one sister Rose Marie Anderson (Calvin) of North Carolina, eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Brandon Wargo (Julianne) of Upper St. Clair, Matthew L. Wargo (Elizabeth) of Kissimmee, Florida, Allan J. Wargo (Courtney) of Strabane, Benjamin C. Wargo of Canonsburg, Ryan A. Yamashita of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Kacey L. Jobkar (Matthew) of Canonsburg, Paige Plisko of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Thomas A. Yamashita of Royal Oak, Michigan, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are two sisters Violet Gualteri and Maxine Gillenwater.

Friends are welcome from 2~4 pm and 6~8 p.m on Sunday, August 26, 2018  in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner/supervisor, and Darla A. Tripoli, LFD, 304 W Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m.  on Monday, August 27, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m.  in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 317 W. Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Washington Road, McMurray.
