Stanley E. Grabowski, 74 of Canonsburg passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Canonsburg Hospital.

He was born on January 8, 1943 in Washington to Valentine and Ida Piffaretti Grabowski who preceded him in death.

On February 2, 1968 he married Dianna McKeefer who survives.

Mr. Grabowski was a veteran having served in the US Army.

He was a welder/fitter and worked for Castec Incorporated in Monongahela until his retirement.

Mr. Grabowski was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. He was a quiet man but had a tremendous sense of humor. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch and people watching.

In addition to his beloved wife he is survived by his two devoted daughters Sharon L. Malone of Canonsburg and Sheila R. Rura of Eighty-Four, a sister Margaret Little (Gordon) of Canonsburg, five grandchildren Coty Wagner, Brandi Rura, Devin Malone, Daniel “DJ” Rura, Jr., and Denielle Malone, and his faithful companion Betsy his dog.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Louis Grabowski.

Friends are welcome from 2~4 and 6~8 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
