Barbara A. (Saver) Cianelli

Barbara A. Cianelli, 74 of Washington passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2017 at HCR ManorCare in McMurray.

She was born on May 30, 1942 in Strabane to Joseph Saver and Matilda Osvath Saver who preceded her in death.

On October 7, 1967 she married Ronald Cianelli who survives.

Mrs. Cianelli was a faithful member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. She worked for St. Patrick  School as a secretary for 25 years until her retirement. After retirement, she volunteered at St. Patrick  School with Kindergarten children.

Barbara was a past President of Christian Mother’s and Guild of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and was currently the Vice President. She loved road trips, spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church choir.

In addition to her devoted husband, she is survived by a son Nicholas Cianelli (Susan) of Mansfield, Texas, a sister, Helen Malone of Irving, Texas, three grandchildren, James, Allie and Maddie Cianelli and three nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Joseph A. Cianelli who passed away February 14, 2002.

Friends are welcome from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will begin at 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
