Evelyn Gulla

Evelyn Gulla age 93 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 26, 2020 in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 14, 1927 in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Kotvas Pochiba.

Mrs. Gulla lived her life in Canonsburg and was a faithful member of the St. Patrick worship site of St. Oscar Romero Parish. Evelyn was a homemaker who was known to have a green thumb. She loved spending time in her garden, hoeing the dirt barefoot and enjoying the sun shine.  She also enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren, canning and was a fabulous baker.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her beloved son Ronald Gulla and his wife Laurel of Waukon, Iowa; grandchildren Remy and Wyatt Gulla; brother John Pochiba and his wife Donna of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband Joseph Gulla who passed away October 28, 1993 , sisters Ann Wudkwych, Frances Sroka, Julia Gronski, Helen Sluciak, Mary Kowalski, Katherine Kissel and brothers Andrew and Joseph Pochiba.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic there will be private family visitation in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Monday December 28, 2020 in the St. Patrick worship site of St. Oscar Romero Parish 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg.

Interment will follow in St Patrick Cemetery.
