J. Richard "Dick" Kattan

J. Richard “Dick” Kattan age 77 of Canonsburg passed away Saturday January 20, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born September 27, 1940 in Latrobe a son of the late Paul and Catherine O’Brien Kattan. He lived in the Canonsburg area for 25 years. Mr. Kattan served with the United States Army and had been a member of the American Legion. A graduate of Robert Morris Business School and the University of Pittsburgh, prior to his retirement he had been employed in accounting with Roy F. John’s Associates. Mr. Kattan enjoyed walking and was an avid bowler in various leagues including Meth-O-Men and the Lawn Bowling Club in Frick Park. Surviving are his two sons; Brian Kattan of Oakdale and Jeffrey (Suzan) Kattan of Glenshaw, his brother Kenneth Kattan of Greensburg and three grandchildren; Rachel, Leah and Samuel Kattan.

In honor of Mr. Kattans wishes there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick Roman Catholic Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg and interment in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. with full military honors will be private.
