James E. "Pudgie" Hutchison

James E. “Pudgie” Hutchison age 86 of McMurray, passed away peacefully Sunday July 2, 2023, in Canonsburg General Hospital. He was born April 29, 1937, in Canonsburg a son of the late James E. and Margaret Hutchison. Mr. Hutchison proudly served with the United States Airforce, with time in Okinawa, Japan. Prior to his retirement he was a member of Ironworkers Local #3 of Pittsburgh and worked building the “new“ Canonsburg Hospital. Pudgie was an athlete in his youth, known as a football punter and kicker. He had tryouts with the Pittsburgh Steelers and had been a coach with the Canonsburg Little Gunners football team. An avid golfer, Pudgie taught golf and had been a member of the Washington Country Club. He leaves behind his longtime companion Cordelia Caffrey of McMurray, and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents are three brothers, William, Terry and David Hutchison and a sisters Mona Sue Kranak and Jackie Kline.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 until 5 pm Thursday July 6, 2023, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P.
