Keith J. Jacanin

Keith J. Jacanin age 63 of Washington passed away unexpectedly Friday October 21, 2022, in Washington Hospital. He was born April 26, 1959, in Canonsburg a son of the late Joseph Jacanin who passed away August 27, 2012 and Rose Marie Cerbe Jacanin of Canonsburg. Keith was raised in Canonsburg where he was a member of St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church and a graduate of Canon McMillan Sr. High School class of 1977. He was a printer by trade and for many years was the head maintenance engineer for Hyatt Regency during the rebuilding of hotels destroyed by hurricanes on the island of St. John, were he made many lasting friends. Keith was an excellent clay shooter, winning many awards and shooting for charities over the years, and he was a member of the NRA. He sadly leaves behind his two dog buddies Barney and Buddy. Left behind to cherish his memory in addition to his beloved mother are his fiancé Connie Yeckley, with whom he made his home, his dear sister Kathleen Ali and her husband Richard of South Fayette Twp., his two nephews Zachary and Ricky Ali Jr. and two cherished aunts Patricia Cerbe and Anna Ford deceased in addition to his father is his wife Patricia Ann Severine Jacanin, who passed away May 13, 2007 
At Keith’s request there will be no public visitation. Private family visitation and Byzantine Rite services will be held in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 with interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. A Celebration of Keith’s Life for friends and family will take place at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers the family request any memorial contributions in Keith’s name be made to SAVE A SATO dog rescue or a local animal shelter.
