Loretta E. Uram
Loretta E. Uram, 78 of Canonsburg passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh.
She was born on May 17, 1938 in Canonsburg to William Espy and Thelma Herceg Espy who preceded her in death.
In April of 1960 she married Harry H. Uram who passed away in November of 2006.
Mrs. Uram was a 1959 graduate of Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed by the Washington Hospital as an Operating Room Nurse for 40 years.
She enjoyed puzzles, reading her tablet, and animals of all kinds. She loved trips to the beach, specifically Lake Erie and Ocean City, Maryland with her husband and daughter.
In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Herceg.
Surviving is her loving and devoted daughter, Rhonda Uram of Canonsburg, many nieces and nephews, and her dog Mollie.
Friends are welcome from 2-4p.m. and 6-8pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, Lin Webb funeral director, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 with the Rev. Steve Parkhill officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn.
