Louis E. “Rocky” Mazza age 88, of Houston, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 9, 2023, in The Greenery Center for Rehab and Nursing. He was born November 10, 1934, in Midland, a son of the late Samuel and Anna Laveto Mazza. Mr. Mazza lived his life in the Houston area and was a member of St Oscar Romero Prish Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, in Meadowlands. He was a graduate of Chartiers High School and proudly served with the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War, being honorably discharged as a Sargent. Prior to his retirement Rocky had been a carpenter, being employed with many companies over the years. Being an avid fisherman and hunter, he was a member of the Canonsburg Sportsmen’s Club. His wife Regina E, (Bizzack) Mazza is deceased. Left behind to cherish his memory is his son Louis M. Mazza and his wife Barbara of Washington and his daughter Candice (Tom Harvey) Pennington of Cuyahoga Falls Ohio, sisters Catherine “Val” Aquilino and Barbara Goyda both of Canonsburg, Jennie Spaltore of Pittsburgh and brother Joe Mazza (Jean) of Washington and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his wife are his brothers Sam, and Frank Mazza and sister, Marie Kendo
