Patricia Ann Sickles

Patricia Ann Sickles age 78 of Slovan, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Saturday April 1, 2023, in Canonsburg Hospital, with her devoted son by her side. She was born October 9, 1944, in Canton Ohio, daughter of the late Stephen and Susanna P. Petro Gonglik. Patty was a graduate of Canon-McMillan Sr. High School class of 1962, was Roman Catholic and lived in Slovan since 1980.  She received an associate degree from Robert Morris College and had been employed in product safety with Bayer Corporation for many years and prior to her retirement with Lanxess Corporation. Patty enjoyed traveling around the world, cooking and gardening. She loved animals of all kinds, especially her dog Sugar. Left behind to cherish her memory is her son, John P. Sickles and his wife Kristine of Moon Twp. and her beloved granddaughters Elizabeth, Emily and Molly Sickles.

Friends and family are welcome from 3-6 pm Wednesday April 5, 2023, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where Catholic blessing services will be held at 6 pm with Father James Dowds officiating. Interment will be private.
