Robert Paul Pavlek Sr.

Robert Paul Pavlek Sr. age 77 of Sevierville Tennessee formerly of Canonsburg and Slippery Rock passed away unexpectedly Friday May 4, 2023, in his home. He was born March 14, 1946, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Peter Paul and Mary Chopak Pavlek. Bob was raised in Canonsburg and graduated from Canon-McMillan High School. Being an avid member of the Boy Scouts of America in his youth, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in Scouting. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as an architectural draftsman for SNL Lavalin. Robert loved Nascar, the Smokey Mountains, gardening, and animals, especially his beloved dog JJ.  Deceased is his wife Mary Shelia Burke Pavlek who he married on May 14, 1966. Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved children, Robert (Shelley) Pavlek Jr. of Dublin, PA, Linda (Donn) Spare of Sevierville TN, Mary Catherine (Kristal) Pavlek of West Sunbury, PA and William (Diane) Pavlek of Stevens PA, his grandchildren, Megan, Peter and Ian Spare, Aiden, Alexander and Robert Pavlek III, three greatgrandchildren, Aria Spare, Zadie Buhlmann and Isaac Spare and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pavlek was the last of his immediate family. Deceased in addition to his wife and parents is his daughter Roberta Pavlek and his brother John D. Pavlek.

Family and friends are welcome from 4 pm until 8 pm Thursday, May 11, 2023, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P.
