Tessie C. Radosy

Tessie C. Radosy age 99 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 9, 2023, in Washington Hospital. She was born June 11, 1924, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late George and Helen Olszewska Skowirski. Tessie lived her entire life in Canonsburg where she attended Canonsburg schools and had been employed at the former RCA Plant. She worked for the ABC Gift Shop, Flanery Bolt in Bridgeville, where she reamed gun barrels for the military, during World War II. Mrs. Radosy was employed at Verland, in Sewickley for twelve years. She had been a faithful member of the former St. Genevieve Roman Catholic Church, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, SNPJ Lodge 138 of Strabane and the Polish National Alliance. Tessie was an avid bowler, liked crafts and was still playing bingo until one week before her death. On November 9, 1947, she married Joseph Radosy who passed away January 13, 1964. Left behind to cherish her memory is her son Joseph Radosy and his wife Roxanne of Canonsburg and her daughter Rebecca Leopold of Powhatan Point, Ohio, four grandchildren, Joy (Chris) Curfman, Cynde Mitchell (Corey), Nathan (Bailey) Naramore and Natalie Naramore, 8 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Radosy was the last of her immediate family. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are her three sisters, Adele Buncic, Loraine Doheny and Gerry Statler.
