Tosca Affinito

Tosca Affinito age 100 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022 at North Strabane Rehabilitation and Wellness, Canonsburg. She was born December 14, 1921 in Monongahela, PA, a daughter of the late Gino and Nicolina Macconi.

Tosca was a 1939 graduate of Monongahela High School. She was a terrific cook and enjoyed sewing and being a homemaker and caring for her family. She led a simple life, enjoying spending time with her family and friends. Tosca celebrated her 100th birthday in December, she was the last of her immediate family.

On July 26, 1941 she married James J. Affinito who passed away on March 22, 1999. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son Norman (Darla) Affinito of Canonsburg; daughter in law Karen Affinito; grandchildren Toni (Scott) Heinen; Blake (Jackie) Affinito and Alysa (Craig) McCann and great-grandchildren Ayden, Sydney and Emylia Heinen. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are her son Ronald Affinito, granddaughter Shawna Affinito and sister Ada Falappi.

Friends and family are welcome on Tuesday March 29, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of a blessing service at 11:00 am in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor, Erin E. Jones LFD, 304 W. Pike Street, Canonsburg. 724-745-8120.

Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
