She graduated from Edgewood High School and was an employee of Westinghouse Air Brake in Wilmerding, PA. On December 21, 1956, she married Edward G. Wehrle, who survives, and the two remained happily married for 64 years.

Also surviving are three children, Matthew (Denise) Wehrle, Jeffrey (Linda) Wehrle, and Lisa (Frank) Pazzynski; seven grandchildren, Tirzah Allen, Brenna Kraf, Jeffrey (Cassie) Wehrle Jr., Amanda (Adam) Wise, Sarah Wehrle, Matthew Wehrle Jr, and Addie (Emanuel Mora-Moreno) Pazzynski.; three great-grandchildren, Nathan McKnight, Isaiah Kraf, and Aida Mora-Pazzynski; sisters Joan (William) Teagarden and Dawn (Robert) Weingartner, brother William (Barbara) Birdsall, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wehrle was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Along with being an artist, gardener, and animal lover, she volunteered her time ministering to Alzheimer’s patients, helping at a women’s shelter, working for pro-life causes, teaching Sunday School, and serving as a Christian camp counselor. She was an active member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Upper St. Clair for 25 years. She worked alongside her husband as vice-president of Rainbow Graphics printing company in Meadow Lands, PA.

Her family and friends cherish the memory of her loving, gentle spirit, her beautiful blue eyes, her heart for the hurting, and her legacy of faith.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120.
